Since I’ve now reviewed two guides in mega-detail here, I thought it was a good idea to post up a comparison between the two (I apologize for the delay – I had meant to do this last week but didn’t get round to it in the end).
Now I’m not quite sure how to lay out a comparison of guides that each contain so much information, so I’ve attempted to create a few comparison tables to get you going, but you’ll have to read the paragraphs to get the real detail (sorry – I can’t display it all on the table).
Before you read the comparison, you may want to check out the reviews here:

A Note About Similar Vs Different Topics In The Guides
The table above lists the topics that are similar in both guides. However, I was surprised to see that nearly all of them are covered in different ways. For example, Peggy and Tiffany have completely different ideas for marketing their PLR sites. And I really like them both. They share similar philosophies on the simplicity and organization of their PLR stores, but have different tips again when it comes to extra ways to make money from your PLR.
The topics that are different include things like Tiffany’s perks of being a PLR writer, or Peggy’s day in the life of the PLR writer. Although these are interesting, when one guide misses out one of these topics it doesn’t leave a gaping hole in the system. They run their business in slightly different ways, and all of the subjects you NEED are covered in both guides.
The Value Of Each Guide
In all honesty I can’t tell you which guide is more valuable. In terms of quantity, Tiff provides more with the more densely formatted text, and the extra videos. However, it really isn’t all about quantity. In my mind, a guide is worth the money if you come away with even one piece of advice that will increase your profits. Both guides succeed at this with different tips.
Main Benefit of Become A PLR Writer?
Detailed information when it comes to researching your competition and setting yourself up above the rest (I attribute my success so far to the HUGE amount of work I put into this, which this eBook could have reduced had I owned it back then). Aside from that, I found so many tidbits of information about adding extras and increasing profits – that may sound vague but even some of the smallest ideas I gained from this will be worth a lot.
Main Benefit of PLR ATM?
If you’re a newbie, the videos are worth a lot! Otherwise, the section on PLR sales gives a fantastic insight into so much of Tiffany’s success with PLR. The detail Tiff goes into, especially on extra topics like services you can add to your PLR biz, is also impressive.
Conclusion – Which One You Should Buy – Is It Worth Buying Both?
I got a lot out of reading both of these PLR guides, but if I were to sum up the main difference it is that Peggy covers a lot of ideas but in less detail. Tiffany also includes many ideas, but chooses a few to go into more detail on so you’re ready to go with them without referring to outside sources.
I didn’t think I would be saying this but I do think it’s worth buying both. Why didn’t I think I’d say this? Because, after reading PLR ATM, I wondered how another PLR guide can be much different. But I was very wrong – these are two PLR sellers who operate their businesses in very different ways. Both have distinctive styles, and both have different ways of marketing their PLR, watching the competition, and putting together their packs.
I will say this, though. For beginners who don’t want to invest in both guides, choose one or the other and take it from there.
- For complete newbies: I would pick Tiffany’s guide (purely because of the detailed video tutorials, especially when it comes to setting up your site, using DLGuard etc.).
- For people who already know the basics of setting up a blog: you can use either guide and you’ll have a good foundation for running your PLR business.
- For those who already have a PLR store but need more help: You’ll find value in both, though both will also of course contain some things you already know. You don’t need either but you should get ideas from both.
I hope my review and comparison has helped you make your decision over which guide to buy! Like I said, you don’t need both guides to get the basics of running a PLR site. But, when you have the money to invest, it’s well worth it to learn new tactics.

How I turned one new PLR pack release into $1000+,
I think it’s worth it to buy both if you can afford the two investments. Each of these women rule a PLR site, but they do it in a lot of different ways. You can learn even more methods for creating and marketing your PLR if you read two opinions rather than just one. I have both, and have many reasons why I like each, which you have listed in the table in this post.
Kecia – Agreed! I didn’t expect them to differ that much, but they do.
I agree with Kecia it is definitely worth it to buy both products if you can. Now that PLR ATM has been reduced people can hopefully afford to do that. I have both books and they really do compliment each other.
PLR ATM is great to get your website up and running. Then use Become a PLR Writer to refine and add some different aspects to your site. Both these books will become great resources for you to refer back to time and time again.
Sue – Yes I think I’ll be using a lot of the marketing techniques in Become A PLR Writer for quite a while as I grow my business. It’s good that there are now so many things to try.
I bought Become a PLR writer, and I’m very happy with my purchase. I also contacted Peggy about a proposed PLR project and she was very helpful with suggestions. She responded fast. I believe in having a lot of resources, so, I may consider Tiff’s later. I like both ladies. They’re lucid, down to earth and devoid of hype.
Michael – That’s great to hear that you got some feedback from Peggy. I think both her and Tiff are great with being open to hear from their buyers.
This is a great and helpful comparison! I haven’t bought either one yet, but I think I’ll buy them both soon. I’m sure there is a ton of info I can use.
Lisa – Im sure you’ll still find a lot of useful tips, especially all the little marketing touches or profit boosters that Peggy includes. Even some small ones are great for increasing profits.
Good comparison and I like your chart. I had already purchased and gone through both and they seemed to fit like hand and glove. Different approaches, but together they were pretty much a complete package.
Ruth,
Thanks for the information. I have Peggy Baron’s products and have read a couple of others and find that each one covers some different topics along with similar ones. You can usually pick up at least a few helpful tips from each product.
